Housemaster - Guy Briere-Edney

Guy took over Lyon in 2006, having previously been the Resident Tutor in The Green. He teaches Geography and a new subject on the Environment in the IB course. His interests include travel and sport and he currently coaches hockey and cricket teams. He is married to Viola who has taught at both Leweston and Sherborne Girls. She now teaches part time at Sherborne and plays an active part in House life. They have two young children.

Lyon House was purpose built almost 100 years ago, with spacious accommodation and wonderful grounds. A new extension with enhanced facilities for the sixth form opened in 2007 and earlier this year another major phase of work was completed providing the most up-to-date facilities. The House lies in a tranquil cul-de-sac near Sherborne Girls and less than 5 minutes' walk from the main site, adjacent to the School's playing fields.
