School House

Kester (and Clare) Jackson

Kester took over School House in 2010, having previously been Senior Tutor at Abbey House.  He is a member of the Theology Department and teaches Religious Studies and Philosophy. He also conducts Personal Development classes and, in the past, has co-ordinated 'Focus', a cross-curricular, independent learning experience for all Third Form Boys. His interests include a mix of sport and music, and when time allows he sings in the Chapel Choir.

Clare is currently the School's Head of Woodwind, and enjoys a rewarding teaching career within the Music Department.  They have two daughters.

School House is the oldest and most central in the School, being in The Courts. The original Old School Room (1606) is just one of the many communal rooms in the House.  Others include a games room, a library, computer suite and two common rooms.
