Housemaster - Alistair Hatch
Alistair became Housemaster in 2008 having returned to Sherborne in 2001 (he is an Old Shirburnian), after teaching Geography and been a day Housemaster at RGS, Guildford. Since then he has coached both Senior Hockey and Cricket, and run the Royal Marines Detachment. His interests include hill walking, a wide range of sports, fine wine and reading. He is married to Karen who runs her own French tutorial business as well as taking a full part in the running of the boarding house. They have two young children - Jamie and Ella.
The Green is situated on a new site a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of the School and has excellent facilities both indoor and outdoor, especially the large garden.
