The Health Centre

The Health Centre lies at the edge of the campus on Acreman Street. A team of qualified nurses led by Clare Ellwood RGN, includes Genevieve Legg RGN, Caroline James RGN and Dawn O'Donnell RGN. The team works in close collaboration with the School Doctors, all of whom are partners at the Yetminster Health Centre, to provide a comprehensive and high quality medical service.

The Health Centre is open round the clock during term time, caring both for in-patients and out-patients. A boy, who is not well enough to attend lessons, can be admitted to the Health Centre and be looked after by the nursing staff. Parents are informed about, and kept up to date with news of their son's progress, and parents are encouraged to telephone at any time.

The School Counsellor, Mrs Morna Spence, is also based in the Health Centre. She works full-time throughout term time, offering a range of services for boys in need of her support.
