A Level Studies
Boys choose 4 subjects in the Lower Sixth and continue with 3 or 4 into the Upper Sixth. The option blocks the Lower Sixth are given below. The blocks change each year and are drawn up after the boys make their choices - no subjects are 'pre-blocked'. Boys study one subject in each block.

All the subjects in Block 1-4 are available at both AS and A levels with the exception of Russian which is only available at A level.
In addition all A Level candidates are required to complete an Extended Project in a topic of their choice. This will be supported by a critical thinking course that is taught during the Lower Sixth.
