Academic Music
Music is taught as a class subject to all Third Formers in their first year. Those who go on to choose Music as an option make a film and them compose music for it using Sibelius or Logic software. At GCSE the specification followed is that of Edexcel, where particular emphasis is placed upon composing.
At A Level the specification is OCR.
Music Technology is also taught at Sherborne.
