The Music School

A brand new music school opened at Sherborne on July 2nd 2010.

The new Music School houses all of Sherborne's music making under one roof. However it is much more than a collection of superbly soundproofed rooms. It houses seventeen new practice rooms, two fully equipped music classrooms, four ensemble rehearsal rooms, two recording studios and a state of the art recording suite linked to both recording studios and the Tindall Recital Hall. The Tindall Recital Hall has seating for 120 and is the jewel in the crown at the heart of the Music School.

Thanks to the generosity of so many donors this building takes Sherborne's music into the 21st century. It gives a modern and enviable facility for all to enjoy.
