Lunchtime Recitals

Weekly lunchtime recitals at 1:30 pm in Cheap Street Church, enjoying a large local audience numbering on occasion more than eighty people, provide the mainstay of performance opportunities at Sherborne. The composers' concert, when GCSE and A-level compositions are performed alongside compositions and songs written by boys who may not have elected to study Music as an academic subject, is a particularly popular recital although in recent years the audience has often numbered as many as 80 from the local community and more from within the school.
