4. External Scholarship Awards

The department at Sherborne looks to identify those students with the talent and potential to go on to form a career around their abilities. A few students apply for an Arkwright Scholarship which requires them to sit an additional external exam in order to win the opportunity to attend and interview at a Science and Engineering University. Those who are successful join a small elite group nationally and are supported by a sponsor through their Advanced Level studies and are monitored by an area liaison officer.
