Sherborne Announces new Chaplain
Sherborne is pleased to announce that the new Chaplain from September 2010, in succession to the Reverend Stephen Gray, will be the Reverend Lindsay Collins, currently Senior Chaplain at King’s College School, Wimbledon (since 2004). Before that she was Chaplain and Head of RS at St. Paul’s Girls’ School (2001-4) and previously Chaplain and Head of RS at Cokethorpe School, Witney (1999-2001) and teacher of RS at Yateley Comprehensive School (1992-5). She was ordained priest in 1998.

Gargoyle on Bodleian Library designed by Sherborne Boy
Current Abbey House boy Henry Chadwick was in Oxford recently to meet award-winning children's author, Phillip Pullman. Two years previously Henry had entered a competition to 'Design-a-Gargoyle' launched by the University of Oxford. Henry's design, based upon 'Three Men in a Boat', was one of the twelve finalists, each of which has been immortalised in stone and now sits atop the Bodleian Library in the city.
