IB Research trip to British Library
Mrs Clayton escorted the L6 IB students to the British Library last week to attend a ‘Digital Pathways’ Workshop in order to develop digital research skills through an enquiry led session.

Chamber Choir at Hazlegrove School
The Chamber Choir visited Hazlegrove School on Tuesday to give a short recital in the school’s theatre. The Director of Music at Hazlegrove, Yvonne Fawbert, welcomed the choir and, in praising its performance afterwards, made particular mention of the ethereal quality of the polyphony by Palestrina with which many of the school were not especially familiar.

Eamonn Gearon - The Arab Spring
On the 21st of January, Mr Eamonn Gearon gave a talk to the whole school in the BSR. Although he is principally an author, political journalist and Arabist, he is well known for his great insight and understanding between the greater Middle East and the West.

Three Sherborne boys enjoyed successes at the Compete tennis rounds at Team Bath Tennis Academy yesterday. All three boys had a good day, with James Sewry (5d) and Angus Fraser (3m) winning a match and Peter Lederman (3a) both matches.

Schools' Biathlon Championships Semi-Finals
Sunday 22nd January saw three boys from the Sixth Form took part in the Schools' Biathlon Championship Semi-Finals, held at Bath University, which involves a 100m swim followed by a 1km run.
