Inspirational Speaker Lecture: Mark Littlewood

Mark Littlewood of the Institute for Economic Affairs visits Sherborne

On the 11th and 12th May, Mark Littlewood, Director General of Institute for Economic Affairs and well known political commentator, presented the Saturday morning Inspirational Speaker Lecture on the UK Economy and gave a very thought provoking talk about the debt crisis and possible solutions. He also met a number of the top scholars for dinner on the Friday evening when a lively debate saw discussion on all matters from the finance of football to the Coalition Government. Finally on Saturday he met with the Government and Politics students to give the his assessment of upcoming US elections and matters in the European Union.
