Inspirational Speaker Programme: Help for Heroes

We were delighted to welcome Max Belbin (OS & father of Alex, 3m) to speak to the school about the work of Help for Heroes. With a military and business background, Max became involved with the campaign from the outset in 2007 becoming Director of the Campaign in Berkshire.

Max gave the boys an overview of the background to the charity and the type of work and projects that have been supported. Detailed case studies of three servicemen were presented alongwith plans for future work. It was a very powerful presentation and has already prompted a number of boys to consider how we at Sherborne could raise funds for the organisation.
