Sherborne winners in Dorset County T20 Cricket

We are proud to report that Sherborne School's Junior Colts A cricket team have taken the winner's trophy in the Dorset County T20 held at Bryanston this week.

Initially the team was well on its way to a good points tally but rain stopped play when the score was 130-4 off just 15 overs. The decision was made to start the game again indoors at the local indoor cricket centre.

After a wobbly start the team steadied the ship and made 99 runs in 12 overs, 8 a-side match. They then bowled and fielded extremely well and managed to get Bryanston all out for 74.

After winning the County cup, this puts Sherborne through to the Preliminary Regional round at Parley CC on June 27 against the winners of the Hampshire Cup and the Isle of Wight Cup.
