The Unplugged Recital

The second Unplugged recital of the year recently took place in the Tindall Recital Hall. The two Unplugged events each year now have firm places in the school calendar and are declared "full" when the number of those booking tickets reaches about eighty - that being the largest comfortable number of people in the Tindall, during the preferred informal layout involving bean bags and casual seating, before the informal and rather intimate setting becomes crowded.

As ever, the occasion was tinged with a certain nostalgia as various leading lights performed for the last time apart from the Leavers' Concert at Commem. Favourites included Nat King Cole's Love (Felix Stickland & Robert Folkes), Crystal Fighters' Plage and Five years time, and Bob Dylan's All along the watch tower. Singer songwriters Sam Francis and Hugo Cornell also entertained with their usual panache.
