Golf

Golf is becoming an increasingly popular sport and leisure activity with more and more people taking it up at an early age.  The School is lucky enough to be able to use Sherborne Golf Club, which is an excellent course with fantastic views towards Glastonbury Tor and challenging holes.

There are two forms of membership – Full Junior Membership of Sherborne Golf Club, entitling the member to play everyday of the year – approximate cost £85 – and Membership of the School Golf Society, entitling the member to play midweek and on Sunday afternoon – cost £50 per term.  Transport is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

Coaching for beginners and those of a higher standard can be arranged with the Club professional.  The School has approximately twenty Full Junior Members and over thirty others who play on a termly basis.  Represent the School and there is the opportunity to play on some of the best courses in the South West.
