Prep Schools from all over the South West of England came to the largest Under 11 Mini Hockey Tournament ever held at Sherborne .

The recent resurfacing of the Upper Astroturf has given Sherborne a further two top quality playing surfaces. These facilities enabled the expansion of the event this year from 10 to 16 Schools.  (See IMAGES tab on the media player for more photos of the day.)

Shield runners up- Millfield Prep

Plate Winners- Sandroyd
Plate runners up- Mount House

Vase winners- Sherborne Prep
Vase runners up- Clayesmore

It sounds very clichéd to say ‘Hockey was the winner’ but this tournament was played in very good spirit. The standard of hockey was excellent, the matches were competitive and exciting, and the sportsmanship and encouragement shown by all the players, coaches and parents was a credit to all who attended.
