Cross Country
This is one of the most successful sports in the School from the competitive point of view with trophies regularly won at both senior and colts levels. It is also a very popular activity, with a large number of boys of all ages taking part.
Boys interested in running or in keeping fit are welcome to join the cross-country group in the Michaelmas and/or Lent terms. To enjoy this activity boys do not have to be outstanding athletes, nor do they have to have had experience of distance running, although many of the School's best athletes participate.
In the Michaelmas Term, a varied programme of runs and other training exercises are provided in West Dorset’s beautiful countryside on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for those not involved in rugby and who wish to keep fit.
In the Lent Term there is a busy programme of competitive fixtures on Saturdays in addition to strenuous training on Tuesdays and non-race days.
