Polo

Polo is an addictive, fast and furious contact sport which only requires four players to make up a team (three in the winter).

The Polo season falls in the Trinity Term, when as well as the main Sunday fixtures there are Chukkas each Thursday afternoon at Vaux Park.

From November through to March there is an opportunity to play arena polo at Vaux Park on a Thursday afternoon. This is also an ideal time for experienced riders to try their hand at polo if they wish.

Polo is a rare team game where third form pupils and upper sixth can play on the same team and frequently do. To play in a match or tournament players need some polo experience, but all handicaps are welcome. It is preferable to be self-mounted, but not always possible, therefore pony hire is available from the polo club.
