Real Tennis
This is the oldest racket sport in the world dating back to the 12th Century and originally was the 'Sport of Kings'. It is however in its infancy at Sherborne having only been introduced in September 2008. For those boys interested the option runs on Thursday at Hyde Real Tennis Club near Bridport. Ben Ronaldson and his team of professional coaches take beginners through the intricacies of the sport and for those with experience of the game there is an opportunity to play competitively on the Schools' circuit and where appropriate with international players who regularly use the Hyde facilities.
