Swimming

Every new Third Form boy will swim and play water polo during curricular time as part of the PE programme. In addition to this, swimming is available as a sport during the Games programme and in the evenings, with coaching from experienced professionals available both for the recreational and competitive swimmers.

Those hoping to represent the School are expected to attend the various squad sessions which run throughout the year. The competitive season begins in the Michaelmas term when there are Divisional fixtures which lead to National recognition. The Inter House Swimming Gala also takes place in the Michaelmas Term and is always a great contest! Inter school galas take place throughout the year, with the largest number in the Trinity Term.
