ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
The post holder will be required to provide support to the Management Accountant as required ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the finance department.  Duties involve; responsibility for and maintaining the accounts for the School’s subsidiary companies – processing day to day transactions, reconciling control accounts and preparing quarterly management and year end statutory accounts.

The successful candidate will have excellent numerical, written, organisation and verbal communication skills, be able to work to tight deadlines and preferably be AAT qualified or a part qualified Accountant.

PA TO THE USHER
25 Hours per week (9.00am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday)
39 working weeks around Sherborne School term time


Sherborne School wishes to appoint a dynamic and experienced PA to manage the responsibility for the efficient and smooth running of the Usher’s Office.  Applicants should have excellent organisational and secretarial skills with a high standard of presentation and attention to detail.  The ability to process information quickly, assess priorities, multi-task and remain calm under pressure is essential as well as maintaining excellent working relationships with staff, pupils, parents and Governors.
               
The successful post holder must be highly computer literate, specifically word processing, spreadsheets and data bases and have experience of working as a personal assistant or secretary to a senior level.

ADMISSIONS SECRETARY
(Maternity Leave cover from October 2016 for approx. 12 months)
37.5 hours per week.  The post holder will be required to work 4.5 days Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings during term time and 5 days Monday to Friday during Sherborne School holiday periods.
              
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including an approachable and professional telephone manner.  The position would suit a graduate with proven strong administration skills, a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.  Experience of working within a customer facing environment is desirable,  excellent IT skills including maintenance of databases with the ability to work under pressure is essential.
