Sherborne School is looking to appoint a Temporary Classics Teacher from April to June 2017.  The successful candidate will be able to teach Latin, Classical Civilisation and ideally Greek to A Level and Oxbridge entry and will also possess an obvious passion and enthusiasm for the classical world.  The capacity and imagination to inspire, guide and challenge boys of all ages and abilities is essential.  The post would equally suit a recent Graduate new to the profession or an experienced or retired teacher who would be willing to consider a temporary role.

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, all year round.
Some out of hours and weekend work will be required during peak periods

A full time administrative assistant is required to support the Director of Short Courses with the planning and delivery of the Sherborne International Easter and Summer programmes for overseas students.  

The post holder will have responsibility for managing student bookings, UK travel arrangements, assisting the marketing department and conducting agent liaison as well as other general administrative support.  Experience of working within a customer facing environment is desirable, excellent IT skills with the ability to work under pressure is essential.
