Strong GCSE Results at Sherborne
Boys have achieved a strong set of GCSE results with more than 80% of grades at A* - B and over a quarter of all papers graded A*. Results were especially strong in Biology, English Language, Geography, Latin and Greek (where more than a third of boys gained A*s), in Modern Languages (where A*s were achieved by over a quarter of boys), and in Art which recorded close to 90% A*s.

Patrick Shelley Music Prize 2010
The last musical event ever to take place in the Old Music School was yesterday afternoon. Welcoming Richard Dickins, a conductor and currently Director of Music at Imperial College London, to adjudicate the Patrick Shelley Competition, the OMS Recital Room hosted five instrumental classes and a number of tremendous performances.

Sherborne School Music Festival 1st & 2nd July 2010
Sherborne Music Festival on the 1st and 2nd of July is a celebration of the opening of a new £3.5 million music school at Sherborne School. To mark this landmark event we are opening our doors to the public and invite you to come and see the new School and hear concerts from a blue grass band to a symphony orchestra. Over the two days there will be 181 boys playing, stretching from thirteen to eighteen years of age.
