Assistant Head (Academic)

Lindsey joined Sherborne in 1990 and is responsible for the academic progress of boys in the Third, Fourth and Fifth Forms. She also teaches in the Geography department and has a range of co-curricular roles, including co-ordinating entries for equestrian competitions and was Master in Charge of swimming for 17 years. Lindsey read Geography at Leeds University and completed her PGCE at Cambridge University. Prior to Sherborne, Lindsey taught Geography at Uppingham School.

Away from School, Lindsey’s passion is for her two Irish Draught horses, and her Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Having competed at the Royal International Horse Show on two occasions, the aim now is to qualify for Horse of the Year Show. Lindsey also runs a large horse and dog show at Wincanton during the summer.
