At Sherborne, we believe joining together to make music is one of the finest things a community can do. The Music School continues to evolve a rich and living musical tradition in collaboration with the Abbey, Sherborne Girls and surrounding schools to develop young musical talent; transforming our community through the experience of musical performance.
Each term, the Music Diary offers a range of public concerts from the weekly FREE lunchtime recitals in Cheap Street Church (All are welcome!) to the ticketed monthly Tindall Recital Series. There are also special events such as the Sherborne All Stars (Dinner and Jazz), Joint Schools’ concerts and Choral services in the School Chapel which showcase and celebrate the diversity and excellence of music making at Sherborne. Informal concerts, masterclasses and workshops are not public events but provide valuable opportunities for our boys to learn from and be inspired by the best professionals in the music business. We would be delighted if you were able to become involved by supporting our concerts and sharing in the enriching power of music. Book early to avoid disappointment!
