Just a short walk up the hill from the main School buildings, The Green gives boys easy access to both the campus and the town. It is a roomy House, with substantial grounds that include a football pitch and a floodlit hard standing area. This ensures there is ample space for boys to let off steam and to enjoy each other’s company, meaning close relationships form across all year groups.

The Green has a strong history of success in a variety of fields. Boys have achieved great things academically and on the sports field, as well as in Music and Drama, Art and Design. The House has a history of successful charity fundraising, and kindness is put at the very heart of the boys’ lives.

This is seen in their daily interactions with each other, and in the atmosphere of the House. It is a welcoming environment, with comfortable and spacious accommodation that gives everyone a chance to breathe. Boys in The Green feel nurtured and supported, with the freedom to become themselves and the encouragement to make the most of every opportunity life at Sherborne throws their way.
