After a gap of two years, Sherborne School was thrilled to once again be able to host the IAPS U11 Rugby Festival on Wednesday 10 November.

Teams from a number of local prep schools met at The Upper to play in a series of matches throughout the day and, despite the morning being misty and the ball wet and slippery, there was some great rugby played by all.

At the end of the event, Sherborne’s Director of Rugby presented team photographs to all players, thanking them, the coaches, supporters, referees, grounds team and caterers for all they had done to support the running of the festival.

Speaking after the day, Deputy Head (Co-Curricular), Tim Bennett added, “This was a great occasion and one which has been sorely missed in the last 18 months.”

Our thanks to all the schools for coming along: All Hallows, Blundell’s Prep, Bristol Grammar School, King Edwards Bath, King’s Hall, Leweston Prep, Mount Kelly Prep, Perrott Hill, Queens College Taunton, and, last but not least, Sherborne Prep School.

We hope you enjoy the highlights below.
